Main functions:
Throttling and pressure reduction: Throttling the medium-temperature and high-pressure liquid refrigerant from the condenser into low-temperature and low-pressure mist refrigerant, creating conditions for the evaporation of refrigerant in the evaporator.
Adjusting the flow rate: automatically adjusting the refrigerant flow rate according to the change of superheat at the evaporator outlet to ensure that the refrigerant at the outlet of the evaporator is completely vaporised to avoid the liquid strike phenomenon.
Protect the compressor: prevent the liquid refrigerant from entering the compressor, avoiding the damage of the compressor by liquid shock.
